They are heat resistant and very durable so perfect for hot or cold drinks, indoor or outdoor use, or for other uses like as a candle base. I wouldn't recommend putting them in a dishwasher, but they are very easily wiped down. As each coaster is handmade they may contain some slight imperfections like small air bubbles.
