There are no markings of any type that we can see on the bayonet

and may represent a localized survival of the straight

- Blade lamination artifacts ("kizu") from carbon pockets introduced during the original folding process

our display gun still has an operational hammer and trigger assembly so weapon can be cocked using the charging lever and dry fired

This has removed a good deal of the markings

This is a very good example of The Cross of Honor of the German Mother or Mutterkreuz (Mothers Cross) in gold (1st class, Gold Cross: eligible mothers with eight or more children!). The case is maker marked with HANS GNAD, WIEN VII on the lining of the lid near the hinge. It has the correct gold embossed image of the Mother's Cross on the cover, and is still fully functional. There is just some wear and tear around
