This is a truly magnificent sea chest in a pale brown tan color, brass mounted, measuring 31 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 20 inches tall. Complete with original rope handles on either end. Note one rope handle has now been broken, but should be able to be mended. Brass nameplate on center of lid reads: CAPT. WM. PROWSE, H. M. S.
