This just came out of the attic after a hundred years of storage, together with a couple of hundred other guns. It is a full stocked Trade Musket, made using a trade lock by R. ASHMORE of ENGLAND, as marked on the lock plate over WARRANTED. The stock is very nice, with a great color, all brass mounted with an engraved escutcheon on the wrist.
