This is a fantastic condition iron framed flintlock pocket pistol dating to approximately 1804, and marked clearly on the lock plates with KETLAND & CO. and LONDON. This family business started in 1740, eventually folding in 1831, however it had over almost 100 years transacted a tremendous amount of business. The name was well known and various members of the family operated in both London and Birmingham England.
