This is a very nice German WWII Funeral Sash, which unlike others we have had in the past is made from cotton fabric. We have seen these both in a double and single ended configuration, and this example is of the latter. These were displayed during funerals for members of the various NSDAP related organizations, as well as soldiers. During the funeral they would often be draped over a wreath, and after burial were
