This is a very nice all original service worn example of a German WWII M35 helmet, issued to the Heer (Army). This stamped sheet steel construction helmet was field repainted at least once. It originally was the early war Apfel grn (Apple Green), but was painted over with the war time Feldgrau (Field Gray), with some light texture added. This second layer has some chipping, scratches, and rust, typical of a helmet
