Now this is a lovely example of a mid Victorian era police Bobby billy club truncheon. The club itself is a beautiful curved example with a large painted coat of arms of Queen Victoria. Underneath this is a very worn date which we believe to read 1863. Under this is a monogrammed set of initials, TC. It does have a beautiful matured look to it with signs of use but does have some heavy paint loss and material damage.
